Thanks to a Dallas, OR local who donated his garden to Dúnedain Water Tech, we were able to plant 16 beds of crops in late May of 2021. Eight of the beds were fed local spring water. This was our control group. Each of the 8 control beds had a vitalized counterpart with the same exact crop(s). This was our vitalized group. These plants were fed the same spring water after it was vitalized using our Impeller-Vitalizer technology.
Each bed was watered daily with the appropriate water type. It is important to note that the garden was not covered, so the small amount of rainfall we did receive over the spring did impact our data, although minimally.
The northern half of the garden had our tallest crops so as to not impact the sunlight that our shorter crops received. The crops we grew include: sunflowers, hemp, lettuce, yellow squash, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, strawberries, corn, peppers, green beans, carrots, radish, and soybeans.
Our sunflowers that were fed vitalized water grew, on average, 12 inches taller than their control counterparts. As for hemp, our vitalized group grew an average of 10.5 inches taller than their control counterparts.
In a single July night, we recorded 5 inches of growth for the vitalized sunflowers and hemp, while the control hemp grew 1.5 inches and the control sunflower grew 1 inch in the same timespan.
Our plants that were fed vitalized water were, on average, 104% greater in biomass than their control counterparts. Our largest increase in total yield was our squash: while the same number of seeds were planted in both the vitalized and control beds, we harvested 8 vitalized squash and 2 control squash after the same number of days since planting. This translates to a 447% increase in total yield.
Note that none of our control crops grew larger than their vitalized counterparts.
Germination
Across the board, there was a 25% average increase in the number of plants that germinated when fed vitalized water compared to control water.
As for hemp, 86% of the plant locations germinated when fed vitalized water, whereas only 11% did when fed control water. As for our beans, sunflowers, tomatoes, squash and pepper, 100% of the plant locations germinated after being fed vitalized water. Of these plants, a range of 11% to 33% did NOT germinate when drinking control water.
Rate of Maturation
Our data implies that crops that are fed vitalized water mature at a faster rate. For example, our vitalized beans, squash and tomatoes all entered the flowering stage 6 days before their control counterparts did.
It took, on average, 5.75 days less for 100% of individual plants to reach flowering stage after being fed vitalized water compared to control water.
We deem our first real-world application of Dúnedain Water Tech a success. Vitalized water has a direct correlation to the size of crops and the rate at which they grow—this means greater quantity and quality. Plants that can mature in fewer days use less water by nature, which is a win for the planet and the grower.
Further analysis is currently being conducted to determine the nutrient content of crops fed vitalized water versus control water. That said, previous experiments conducted by Dúnedain using our water tech imply that vitalized water also increases the total nutrient density of crops.
